Available Dogs

Morgana is a spayed female, 1-2 yrs old, being fostered in Virginia. She is heartworm negative, currenton shots, and microchipped by the shelter. She and Isabella were takend in the same seizure. Not much is known about these girls lives prior to arriving at the shelter, but they seemvery eager for a new forever home. Morgana is eager to please, and very people friendly. She doesn't wander, and although initially excitable when given attention, she calms down quickly. She was fostered for a few weeks with a toddler, but there are no children at her current foster home. She is okay with other dogs, BUT prefers dogs taller then she is, who are more confident and dominant. If faced with an aggressive dog looking to challenge her, she will not have a problem responding to the challenge, but is not overly aggressive in general. Like most females, she does have "watchdog" tendencies, of barking and investigating strange noises at the edge of the property. She is also food motivated, and very happy natured with her "family". She blended in easily from the shelter to one foster home, to another foster home. We are hoping to make her next move her last.
